Grant Writing Mentors is committed to offering a wide range of services tailored to the needs of both institutions and individuals. Many of our workshops are for larger audiences, such as navigating the NIH grant process, career development planning, or writing an effective career (K) or fellowship application. But GMW also provides small group discussions as well as one-on-one mentoring. Small group discussions may focus on relatively specific topics such as NIH clinical trial requirements, NIH requirement for a single IRB for multi-site studies, or strategies for planning a successful training (T32) application. Preparing, writing, and editing posters and oral presentations may also be a better fit for small group discussions. One-on-one consultation is largely reserved for career consultation as well as preparing/editing individual grant applications and journal articles.
